At this year’s Selectors festival in Croatia, Palms Trax went back to back with Dekmantel Soundsystem’s Casper Tielrooij. With such a young head with boyish looks, Palms Trax’s digging goes deep, matching that of the label founder’s selection. Almost unparalleled as a UK DJ, with a delicate skill of showcasing obscure but upbeat selections, alongside age old classics that never seem out of place. So astute to mixing different styles, while incorporating his dextrous approach to house, bass, and loads of other pumping varieties of music, Midland is fast becoming everyone’s favourite DJ.
